Despite Sony not outselling the xbox 360 in NA, it is still doing very well. ITs selling very good in all three regions japan europe and NA. So all its not lost for sony they just made a year and because of the price drop they have been selling very well. Look like the arcade version of the 360 sold very well, that good for microsoft. Sony has to try and lower the price for the ps3 futher to try and compete with its rival. They should do the samething that microsofr does with the arcade, They should take away the harddrive and replace it with a memory card and throw in some old games like pac man and tetris, and put a price of 280.

Same here i wanna play warhawk but CoD4 gets all my time and with UT3 coming out i dont know how will i manage to play both games.
Uncahrted jus came out like a week ago and its not even released worldwide yet, so uncahrted we dont know yet the game might break 500k mark, being that it sold 127k in the NA alone, however all the other games you mention you was correct. they didnt sale that well.

You have to be stupid if you think that metal gear solid is not a system seller. It might not put up numbers like halo, however the hype that this game is getting is very big,i think it will put up impressive numbers. If the game is not a system seller why ...
I would have maybe bought it if UT3 was pushed to 08, but now since its being released this year UT3 will get my 65 bucks. From what i read those guys at epic did a real good job with UT3 so they deserve my 65. Maybe i will get it in the future
The think is that the ps3 is like a trojan horse. The only reason that Bluerya is winning is because of the Ps3. Ps3 is outselling standalone hd-dvd player by a wide margin. As long as Ps3 remains selling there is no hope for HD-dvd, not one single drop of hope.
I think toshiba should just admit that they lost. Blueray is killing them in sale. with there hd-dvd players being only 100 bucks they still cant seem to outsell blueray movies. Sooner or later the movie studios will abandon the hd-dvd format, and continue to support blueray. Looks like Sony might have failed with betamax and UMD but the third time might be a charm for them because blueray is looking very good right now.
I hope this game delivers very well. The first one had potention to be a very awesome game but they messed it up. I hope this one is crazy man.
The fact that the Playstation 3 is selling very well in all regions must be good news to game developers such as konami and square Enix. Both of these developers where worry about the ps3 install base but now with the price drop and it selling well in europe and japan, those developers can now breath easy. So think are looking good for sony, i just hope they can keep the mommentum up, but with game like GT5 prologue and UT3 being released next month think should keep going on pace.
LOL Sony is outselling the 360 in europe with a crappy @ss commercial. Man they should really change those commercial in europe. But i can assure you thst the reason is selling well in NA is because there commercial here rocks. They come on all day, and people see that and they want a ps3. Also the price cut is really helping them, however i think there may be another price cut sometime next spring.
